HISTORY: Originally supplied to the Editor of the Guardian Newspaper as a company car, it was then sold about 3 years later to an employee who has owned ever since – just 2 owners from new. The MOT history confirms the mileage at 126372 miles, which equates to under 4500 miles pa. The last owner reluctantly sold the car due to the London emission charges and was delighted to find that we had acquired the car for recommissioning. She had the car maintained locally by a small garage known to the family and there are some invoices and receipts, notably one for replacement of the head gasket and timing belt just over 1200 miles ago.

EXTERIOR CONDITION:
Generally good with only minor blemishes commensurate with age and mileage. In terms of structural condition, this car is one of the best I’ve seen being solid and rust-free throughout and will give the new owner many years of happy motoring.
INTERIOR CONDITION:
Clean and undamaged. Previous owners were non-smokers.
OTHER KNOWN ISSUES: The door mirrors don’t fully adjust electrically but can easily be manually set; both headlamp wiper arms and blades are not present, although both motors work so it’s just finding some, difficult to obtain; the nearside inner door trim pocket is missing unless we find one in the meantime.
