HISTORY: First registered on 8th Sept 1978, supplied by TAD Auto Sales of Finchley to a Mr Williamson. This car is finished in Cimarron Brown Volvo code 125 with brown cloth upholstery – 1970s through and through….
The MOT history confirms the mileage back to October 2007 with the car having covered around 14000 miles in that 16 year period.
I purchased this car in November 2021 from her last owner of 10 years to keep and cherish. However, I’ve now upgraded our Classic 240 rally car in order to attend shows etc so Margot is available for sale. Margot has had just 5 owners throughout her 45 years and is tax and MOT exempt, being registered as an Historic Vehicle.
I have had some remedial work carried out to the driver’s door bottom edge and the nearside front lower wing. This work has been carried out professionally using proper gauge steel, no filler, and repainted to match original.
The road wheels were restored and painted whilst in the last owner’s care and fitted with new tyres quite recently (including the spare).
New brakes throughout were fitted at 66595 miles, which included new front and rear discs and pads, and both rear brake calipers.
At 60390 miles, shortly after the last owner purchased her, the automatic transmission was removed, serviced and replaced in order to cure a fluid leak.
The result is a lovely looking vehicle in a very unusual colour, probably unique as there are only 13 left registered on the road today in any colour.
I have had her serviced and thoroughly checked along with a new cambelt, water pump and engine tune by a Classic Car specialist in North Devon, with invoice for the file.

EXTERIOR CONDITION:
Generally very good with only minor blemishes commensurate with age and mileage. There is a small area on the lower nearside front wing which requires some attention, see image. This will be carried out prior to delivery provided the asking price is paid or we can negotiate a reduction if the prospective purchasers prefer to do it themselves. Similarly, some minor attention is required on the rear inner boot wells, same arrangement, see images.
INTERIOR CONDITION:
Clean and undamaged, other than the top of the rear seat squab which has some minor damage, easily rectified, and will be repaired if required as above. Previous owners were non-smokers.
